Happy Friday!!! And even better… Happy spring break!
This week, my favorite thing is my brand new Lilly Pulitzer agenda!
Lilly Pulitzer had a fantastic sale, so this soft cover agenda that is usually $26 only cost me $12! Even better, two-day ground shipping was free, so I ordered my agenda on Tuesday morning and it was on my doorstep on Thursday morning for less than $13 including tax. I am super excited to get organized now! Not only is the outside fun and bright, but the inside is adorable and makes you want to see what tomorrow will bring!
The tabs make everything easy to find, and each month provides a new upbeat theme. Basically, I’m in Lilly-love with my new agenda!
What is your Friday favorite this week? Do you have any good organization ideas? Please feel free to share in the comments!
Have you heard of Birchbox? I hadn’t until recently, when a good friend of mine signed up and posted photos of her first box. Once I looked into it, I decided to order a subscription for myself as a reward for submitting the final draft of my Law Review comment. (I think it’s important to reward yourself after working hard on a project!)
And… What better way than a surprise gift that I get in my mailbox EVERY MONTH?! Birchbox sends you a box full of beauty product samples once a month for only $10/month including shipping. Heck, for most online orders, shipping alone costs almost that. And this way, I get introduced to products that 1) I wouldn’t find on my own and 2) I would be too scared to spend the money on a full size. Oh, and I have something to look forward to every month! It’s like getting a birthday present in the mail EVERY month!
If you want more information, or you want to sign up, click here.
Anyway, here’s my first box! I can’t wait to try all of these samples! (The chocolate is already gone… oops!)
It’s been a while, but here goes! Happy November!
OMG, OMG, OMG Starbucks holiday drinks and red cups are back! Now I get to have those delicious little chocolate curls on top of my peppermint mochas again!
Spraking of the return of holiday drinks at Starbucks… Peppermint mocha and the new Taylor Swift RED CD!
The Vampire Diaries is one of the best shows on TV. I look forward to it every week! You can catch up with past seasons on Netflix if you haven’t already been watching. I HIGHLY recommend this show! It has tons of action, drama, lots of plot twists, and great character development. (Also, Damon is kind of, well, let’s be honest here. He’s hot.)
Chester and Bella were all tuckered out after greeting trick-or-treaters!
Decorating pumpkins this year was so much fun! I really enjoyed getting creative with non-caving options. Though I had fun carving a witchy Hello Kitty, too!
Gotta love Fedora Thursdays, which my friends and I made up. I got this one at Target, and I just love it! I got lots of compliments, too!
Hope you enjoyed! What are some of your favorite things from this week?
Welcome to another edition of Friday Favorites! Today, I am celebrating the defeat of my third final of the semester! Only one more exam and 1L Hell is over!
The Avengers! I got to see this with a group of friends after our final tday. BEST MOVIE EVER! Maybe that’s a tiny exageration, but honestly not by much! I loved every minute of it, and it was the perfect way to de-stress after a very long week!
I wasn’t able to find my usual Starbucks energy drinks at the store we went to this week, so I decided to give this a try instead. I was beyond surprised to find that I actually like this BETTER than the doubleshot ones! DELISH! Here’s to enabling the unhealthy caffiene addiction that comes with law school!
I had my fiance draw this on with a sharpie as a practice run to see how I liked it before I decide on a permanent tattoo. I’m still undecided, but I currently LOVE it. I am seriously struggling with the concept of a permanent mark, but I adore the dsign and the placement, and I think it looks particularly cute with skinny jeans and flats. The design symbolized Faith (the cross), Hope (the anchor) and Love (the heart) from 1 Corinthians 13.
Chipper Jones and his walk-ff home run against the Phillies! Basically, so many of my favorite things! Chipper Jones, the Braves, the Phillies losing… Yup 🙂
My new favorite accessory combo! Both are LC from Kohls, and I just LOOOOOVE them!
THIS is the new Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino®. Thank you Starbucks, for releasing this bad boy during finals to help me survive!!!
An indulgent blend of rich mocha sauce, vanilla syrup, Frappuccino® chips, our signature Frappuccino® Roast coffee and fresh milk blended with ice, topped with delicious chocolaty whipped cream and a chocolate cookie crumble topping.
ALSO… Starbucks has Frappuccino Happy Hour May 4-13 from 3pm-5pm… WOO HOO! (oh look, more caffiene addiction enabling!)
I hope you’ve enjoyed this week’s edition of Friday Favorites!!! I know I had fun putting it together. It’s nice to have a reminder of all the good things in life, especially during particularly stressful times!
Please feel free to comment, especially your thoughts on my tattoo idea! 🙂
After comlpeting my first final of the semester, I’m happy to be thinking about something more fun! Soon, I will have successfully completed my 1L year… I can’t wait!
Epic Study Fort! It may not be very practical, but it was sure fun and made studying suck less!
Favorite confidence booster: I have always been very shy and had difficulty in social situations. This was such a great feeling, and I totally kicked social anxiety's ass!
Favorite tailgate game: Corn Hole! You don't have to be sober or drunk to play this one, and its tons of fun! - ALSO, totally in love with Noelle's seersucker shorts!
Speaking of seersucker... I LOVE just about anything seersucker! Click the photo to take you to an awesome blog post about it!
Favorite purchase this week: This Ann Taylor Loft tank! They were on sale for $15 and came in all sorts of adorable summery colors, but I fell head over heels for this amazing teal color. It's even more vibrant in person! I also found my favorite sweater in white and managed to get this tank and the cardigan for less than $30... Love me a Loft sale!
I made s'more of these s'more treats for the Blue and White tailgate last weekend! This time, I made three varieties: the original, some with peanutbutter added, and some with nutella instead of chocolate. (The ones in this picture are with peanutbutter!) Let me tell you, they were ALL delicious and were all a huge hit! I also really loved these pink and white sprinkles, via my most recent care package from my awesome mom!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s edition of Friday Favorites! Please leave a comment if there’s anything you’d like to see in the next post!
After a few very trying weeks in law school, here is a new edition of Friday Favorites! Hope you enjoy!
I think this is such a good thing to remind ourselves!
Seersucker + Sperry's?!? Yes please!!!
Ummm. hai. I made up this snack and I'm now bsessed. Nutella on graham crackers! YUM!
One of my friends made this super cute hair bow for me to celebrate winning my election for 2L class rep!
You're never too old for an Easter egg hunt!
I hope you enjoyed this week’s installment of Friday Favorites! Have an awesome weekend!
